Leila Qamar

Prior to attending law school, Leila graduated from Wilfred Laurier University with an Honours Bachelors of Arts degree majoring in criminology in 2018. During her studies, she volunteered as a research assistant at the Tshepo Institute for the Study of Contemporary Africa and as a server at the St. Andrews United Church. In March 2016, she was a speaker at the annual Criminology Student Association Conference.

 

After she graduated from Wilfrid Laurier, she moved to London, England to study law at City, University of London, in 2019. During her time at law school, she worked as a placement caseworker for the Freedom Law Clinic. She is on route to graduate and receive her LL.B. in June 2021.
